So i will revive this again as i think its quite interesting. "Free Range Milk is coming and at the moment retailers are going to supply it and in return for you promising to let your cows see grass once a year the dairies will promise to collect your milk (but dont expect a penny extra for it), we have been watching this for nearly 3 years so on Monday the FRMMB went live with a sole aim of being the only supplier of "volume" free range milk under a single label - NO CONFUSION! Change is coming so lets make it happen, all contact details are on the website, FB page and Twitter feed. The future can be exciting!" From @runny egg first post in april 2016. I have looked on facebook as quoted above "the world doesn't start or end on TFF" A post in september and before that in june. I have looked on twitter last post on july 17th. The website has the same number of "our farmers" as a year ago. So where is the free range campaign on social media? 19 months in from its big launch and Freerange mmb seem awfully quiet? Was it just a flash in the pan or is there actually a growing market out there? I haven't seen any market data on FR sales recently but i do know when Arla printed FR on their organic brand sales rose. The billion litre target hasn't been reach and stands at 825 million litres. Thats a large amount of farmers that have pledge support to FRMMB but where has that support got them in a new sustainable milk price?
