The Hilux invincible x is quite a bit cheaper than the d max range topper which I forget what it was called. Both with NFU discount though not really sure what that was on the Isuzu. Couldn’t get a test drive off local Toyota dealer as all he wanted to do was put an order in. Not buy one off them now. Test drove the new d max. It was ok but that engine lets it down and put me off. Delivery a month ago was going to be Nov for the Hilux. Delivery fir a d max a few months. D max has become expensive and no longer a cheaper option. My current 2.5 d max utah was £21500 plus extras 3.5 years ago. I thought about changing my vehicle due to mad offer of £22400 from webuyanyvan.com but changed my mind. If I was to wait until the end of the year for hilux delivery then may as well wait into next year and see what Ford release maybe. Seating position isn’t the best going on a current 2.4 invincible x. I haven’t sat in a new 2.8 Hilux though. Which if I was changing this year would probably be my choice and maybe/probably a low mileage s/h one. Or a s/h Amorak 3.0.
