I had a few sheets on the roof of a shed that had come a bit loose and were rattling. I decided to feed silage first then get the ladder and go fix the sheeting. I was up the ladder about 14ft with a screw gun when the ladder just dropped from under me. I fell backwards and landed on the silage safe and sound. I'm a bit stiff and sore today but nothing broken or bruised. I was fairly lucky, had I not fed silage first and it cushion my fall, I might not be here. As we come into busy season on farms, especially spring calving farms, we need to remain vigilant. I should have gotten dad to drive tractor and have me in the man basket. Be safe
