someone to hold it is alos good as if anything does happen there is a second person there. other than that I say luck, as anything can happen and you could be down for any length of time before you are missing never mind found. Also, if you are born to be hung you wont be drowned, meaning if its your time to go its then. about 5 years ago I was on a roof, many times before doing as always as safe as possible I thought, anyway stepped over a skylight and my foot slipped. 14ft ass first takes time especially when you know what all can break your fall. Luckily I landed on concrete beside a gate and missed an rsj in the roof and few 3"angle brackets laying close by, I recon hard concrete was best in this case. When I knew I was still alive I put my hand on the gate and got up, surprised no real pain, got into the van and the fella with me drove home. next evening went to get an X ray, couldn't see anything too much bruising around my ass and belt line. a week later I drove back and same thing on x ray too much bruising in same area. 18 months later I pushed hard and after a few more x rays my back pain was said to be mechanical skeletal damage to lower back, also showed wear and tear in shoulders, I was only 28 at the time. Three months later went back and fixed the skylight and the rest of the of the job I was doing origioanlly. The second person no matter who I think is the safest thing to have when working at heights or any suspect dangerous thing. Glad you are ok
