“YouTube Farming” as in the US etc style doesn’t exist here. No one cares . . . No one likes “tall poppies” or show offs . . . Anyway, back to the Ideal. Someone must have bought one here, it’s sitting in the dealers yard I will say, NO ONE here would have bought it just because it’s a “Fendt”. Although their tractors are gaining in popularity & have a good reputation, it would have ONLY been bought because of a good deal / good relationship with dealer / it offers a clear advantage over the competition. Deere / Claas / CNH are the clear leaders here, especially amongst contractors ( which is a very large part of our harvesting capacity & the main buyers of large capacity machines ). I believe the Fendt is based on a MF ? They have a bad reputation here & I have never seen a farmer or contractor in this part of the world run MFs, apart from a friend of mine. He was a grain harvesting contractor with a long history of Allis Chalmers “Gleaners”, N6 / N7 etc, who bought 2 of the biggest MF machines due to the AGCO connection. They were a warranty nightmare, the biggest problem was the the final drives kept failing & I think he ended up taking legal action. They nearly broke him, he couldnt even give them away . . . He is back with a current series Gleaner . . .
