No idea how it has happened but one of the connections to the pickup hitch on the massey have snapped off. Unfortunately it is the one on the pipe that goes to the rams inside the hitch itself. Looks a pig of a job and a few days work to drop the hitch to get to the other end to remove the pipe so in no mood to do that with grass cut in the meadow! I can get about 6 inches of pipe out in the open. It is small bore stuff (about 16mm diameter) so not a particularly big fitting. Local fitter needs pipe off, local contractor has a mobile crimper but says he needs about 18 inches free pipe to work with! I would imagine someone like Parkers would have the kit to do it at a price. Looking online as is the way these days I see you can buy something like this... Has anyone used something similar. Would it be a waste of time and money? Any other options I may have missed? All help gratefully received.
