I have had the 1.9 over a weekend to test and sorry to say not impressed at all absolutely fine unloaded and with an empty trailer on it went fine no rocket ship but it's a truck returned good mpg the trouble came when we loaded 2.3 tons of tractor weight blocks onto my flat trailer and took it for a test on a fairly good hill at the bottom of the hill there is a sign we made sure to be doing 30mph at the sign in 3rd then foot flat down up the hill by half way up the hill it was down into 1st gear struggling hit the top at 15mph we then repeated the test with my 2.4 defender it managed to do 20mph in 2nd by the top we then did the test with our 11reg navara it was doing 35mph in 3rd by the top and no it didn't snap in half. The isuzu is a nice truck for those that don't want to do any real towing but we found it to be constantly up and down the gears on country roads where the navara was a pleasure very rarely changing gear. As good as my navara has been I will be having a ranger next they are the truck at the moment.
