I have finally got all my ducks in a row for purchasing a tractor in March 2021 for £11,500 - £14,500. A few years ago I asked which one I should look at and got an avalanche of advice. I am going to use the tractor for moving heavy pallets about the yard as well as for the 15 acre farm. I am going towards a 80-100HP 4wd tractor with a loader as a package, or I could buy the tractor just now and a loader later in the summer ( I have an old forklift that will move stuff about the yard at the moment). I would prefer the most reliable type of tractor that works well with a loader. Last time I was told the Case tractors have good steering and cabs. I have narrowed the options to: 1/ Older Case 1056/956/895 XL, with loader 2/ Newer Case CS94/ CS100/ CX100 all with NO loader 3/ Older Massey Ferguson 390 T, with loader 4/ Older Ford 6640, with loader 5/ Newer Zeta 8441 with loader 6/ Newer New Holland with NO loader Has anyone had one of these models and would recommend it? Would you go for a tractor and loader as a package (older model probably) or would you go for a newer tractor without loader, then try and source a loader later? Or is sourcing the right type of loader for a tractor a real pain? You could also give feedback on the best option by doing the poll (if it works) or just quoting the option Number 1-6. Thanks for any suggestions.
