Just taken delivery of a new JD6155m, don’t get me wrong it’s a nice tractor but when compared to the previous 6630 it’s a bit dull to drive. I know they are not allowed to smoke when worked hard (which is quite right) but the engine has no bark to it at all in fact you can hardly hear what it’s doing and you only know it’s working hard when you look at the screen and it shows the revs are dropping. When driving the old 6630 I very often opened the side window to hear the lovely bark of the engine! Are all new tractors the same?
