As posted on the other thread I only found this news out this morning, we have been having issues getting our PDRD build completed and were unable to contact them. I rang the tin sheet suppliers this morning to find out where our last delivery of flashings had got to and was told the news which as it is posted on the gazette is public knowledge anyway. Although it has been extremely frustrating having no contact from PDRD over the last weeks whilst harvest approached I had resolved not to vent that frustration publically on here. There are a few of us who have been exchanging PM's behind the scenes however I do not know who the new member 'sad' who broke the news is. Maybe @llamedos or one of the mods can check it isn't a competitor. I have had my patience extremely tested by PDRD over the past weeks and months, Phil wouldn't return calls and the office staff did not seem to know when anything would be delivered or erected. Organising the roller doors to be fitted and the floor to be laid was a stab in the dark as I didn't know when the shed would be ready for them or if there would be other shed erectors in the way on that day etc, a bit of communication would have solved that. All that said I realise building is a tough game, if deadlines slip then bills aren't paid things snowball, the bank circles like a vulture and I assume the stress is unbearable. I hope Phil and PDRD can get back on their feet and most importantly pay off any debts. There is nothing wrong with the shed itself, we are pleased with it, its built out of thick steels that will outlast me and its just what we wanted. It is communication that has been the problem along with getting men and materials to site in the right order at the right time. The shed is now full of wheat, but is not yet complete, there are a few flashings, some panel bracings and the foam fillers to make it rodent proof still to fit. Phil you have got to answer the phone, return calls etc. Get a site manager to a) make sure whats needed turns up when it should and b) that the site gangs are doing the job properly. If you would have communicated i'm sure your customers would have been able to work something out and resolve the issues, maybe that is still possible. I hope this is fair and reasonable comment.
