This additional hopper makes it possible to provide a second product when drilling. It is compatible with the provision of slug pellets, fertilisers or even a second type of seed. This latter solution opens the way to promising interplanting techniques. This practice, also known as the companion cropping technique, is a new solution highlighted by professional agricultural institutes as an alternative to traditional agricultural techniques. The DUO hopper is available with an 70 litre capacity. It applies the products with great precision, from 0.5 to 15 kg/ha. Product location is carried out on the row as close as possible to the main seed. This is managed from the VISION DUO console. This console is able to manage the main metering device of the seed drill and that of the DUO hopper independently. The DUO hopper will be presented for the first time at SIMA. It is one of 6 new products and services offered by SULKY from SIMA 2017 onwards. The DUO hopper is available on the following versions: XEOS HD 3.50 and 4.00 m XEOS PRO 3.50 and 4.00 m XEOS TF 1800 l and drilling toolbar from 3.00 to 6.00 m You can read this update from Sulky Burel on TFF's AGVendor...
