Turbine was put up yesterday in not ideal conditions but the EWT team and crane boys were terrific,towers arrived onsite at 9.00am,turbine finished at 8.00pm after a 2 hr stop in the afternoon because of high winds,can't praise them enough and amazing to watch.

No,the crane driver was telling us that an enercon is 3-4 day build because of grout etc,no grouting on an EWT,first EWT site crane driver has worked on and he said he was very impressed by them.

Looking good ,hope it goes well I'm sure it will out perform the enercon. We've only an x29 and it took 2 days
There is a load more components to lift for Enercon, don't think grouting delays by much as they use the time to pre assemble Rotor.
I have seen the EWTs and it still amazes me how they work with so little electrical equipment in them. The Enercon is full of control cabinets which take up a large part of the first floor

BOP done by various,all local contractors,one for roads and crane pad,one for the turbine base.etc,etc,we have put a lot of money back into the local area unlike the nimbys would have people beleive.

Yes Locogen did,but we made the final decisions on which contractors to use.

Congratulations. I have just logged into this thread and thumbed through it all with great interest. Well done, it looks very impressive. We have one exactly the same less than a mile from here and it looks fantastic. I am sure you will be pleased with it and I hope the wind blows you loads a money !!!
