Sure you haven't missed a strip with the fert spreaderErth effects. Subsoiled autumn '14 . Permanent pasture taken 19 03 '15 . See the line, darker green is where the Erth was used.

See page 3 post 42 , it's a stalwart of my arable rotation, sometimes grown with Persian or Egyptian clover as well as WW and crimson. Crimson is frost hardy the other 2 clovers are not so only use them if going for a spring planting.Was going to try westerwold this year ,have u used it before ?

Tref Incarnat picks up the quality, it was one of the better samples of haylage tested at the Chambres diagnostic morning.Wouldn't bother if I was you , expensive belly fill, handy break crop ish.

Also guarantees enough fodder for the cows in a drought year. I can usually get it off and fert on and a bit of rain to get 2nd cut if i take it earlyish.
