Well you and I are within sight of it so he hasn't achieved it yet!
You boys just don't know how lucky you are, to be within cycling distance of cheffins!! I wouldn't have any money for seed let alone land if I was that close. 1hr 40 for me.So am I!
Best/cheapest way to keep em!
Yeah all them 14 plate John and Fendt's cluttering the saleground upWhat that old scrap yard?
I had some stuck one it was that bad winter 2009?? -10 for a few days never touched them. If you lifted them a week after a sharp frost you would soon know! If you lift late enough in the spring, at least you only lift good spuds. Not when you get a -8c frost and you don't know which ones are froze

Everything in there is practically brand new compared to what I already own! It's easy to be highly disappointed by what you buy in there!

No had a nice combistar 1700 last year. Two 12t trailers harvest time and a teleporter last month. I'm an impulse buyer. Run Reekie 2170, 2000. I think you are lucky being local in that you can take anything there easily to test the water. You didn't buy our Whitsted phoenix potato harvester did you? Cost £28K in 1980 sold for £500 there 3 or 4 years ago.
TBH we've never bought anything from there as we were always told that was the stuff dealers/farmers couldn't sell themselves.
no chance, cereals are rubbish, so everyone is letting out land for easy money!!!!!!!!!
Will the seed be there for anyone to go mad on extra area? Lots of varieties not available...........even free varieties like Estima horrendously tight now. Personally feel overall area will be broadly similar to last years that was 8% back on 2014 - perhaps even marginally down on last years - lack of vydate has made some growers minds up not to bother in the West Midlands at least.
We can hope!!
Buyer beware- but to be fair it's like that with all used machinery offered in auction. It's easy to be highly disappointed by what you buy in there!
