Ey up! Glad you are back with us :)
I learned that bit yesterday .
Without discussing, in depth , ones ablution routines, a three yard walk , and a bit of a thrutch did for me,

Spark out.

That's when I realised I had the strength of a ninety year old bloke!

How the feck can a coo be cuddin away happily, an hour after a cesarean? ??

If you need the painkillers, take them. After my cesar, I was feeling great (apart from the embarrassment of a bedbath, and 3 bed changes in 6 hours ) Chuckles wouldn't settle, so the nurses took her off, filled her up and got her to sleep. 6 hours later, after the best sleep ever, I jumped out of bed feeling ace, then near collapsed on the floor due to the painkillers having worn off because of the time lapse.
Keep yourself whacked up on them as long as you need :)

@kneedeep So you have had the equivalent of man flu. a caesarian and avoided rape and morphine addiction, we know you're 'ard. Now is the time to man up and do the time. JFD [whattheysay] I

Coos are numb and so are sheep, and pigs are pretty much anaesthetised as well :p
Cows are shitty, stubborn animals but have the highest pain threshold going. They are just incredible.

I've heard of culls going to slaughter walking into the crate fine that turn out to have old bone breaks and hip displacements. They just man (cow?) Up and compensate.

Don't you go trying to be a cow though @kneedeep - take your time and heal properly.

Morning Ian....How ya feeling today? Hope you're doing as you're told and not pushing the limits too much. Speak up to the staff if you need the painkillers,...it's what they're there for, so make good and proper use of them....and don't be so damn stubborn thinking you'll be reet!!,.... you won't be for a while yet,..so steady away eh?! ;).

I can kinda relate to some of the pain and sheer frustration at not being able to jump up and get on with it.. I had Menningitis when i was 30 and it knocked me for 12 never mind 6. Ugggghh,..to be soooo inactive when used to being up and about and get on with things on a daily basis was so bloody mind bending (although i had absolutely no energy whatsoever and was throwing up like there was no tomorrow at one point). Took me a good while to get back to being myself again....and i mean A Good While...

So you just do as you're flippin' well told and take it easy,...one day at a time and spend them well while you're in the there being waited on. Walking before Running is the best way to go on this one Ian and once again,...please take advantage of the Meds to help you through this...
Take care of You. x

Well , I've got wet this morning as well as you lot.

I'd like to report an indecent.

Between the hours of aproximately 8.30 and 9.15am, whilst in a weak and near delirious state, a naive, middle aged country boy, was taken, initialy against his will , stripped naked in a small room ,by a complete stranger, of the opposite sex,and subjected to an intimate ordeal , involving liquids of various perfumes, razors, shower heads, and other novel forms of torture, never experienced by this hayseed before in his fifty years on this planet.

Can't wait for tomorrow

A few phrases that make me curious:

I'd like to report an indecent

Initially against his will
Opposite sex
And....can't wait for tomorrow!

Do we need to move to the ooooh! Thread?

Think there'd better be a
'Eugh!' Thread....

I seem to remember glimpsing my dignity disappearing fast over the horizon sometime around last Thursday night , when presented with gown and paper knickers!
