Yes please certainly interestedI've got a couple of shearlings, I don't know if they'll be good enough, but I can send some photos if you like. They've only ever had grass, and that is the truth.
I have tried a texel and it is a big improvement however still doesn't quite make up for the square and long legged easycareWhat about trying a crossbred like a texel x beltex
Yes please certainly interested
That lamb looks bloody good!! [emoji106][emoji106][emoji106][emoji1]I'll try and get some photos in the morning, they're shedding at the moment, but shearing on Monday. Here's one of this years lambs, the shearlings would be by a different tup.

That's one of the best things about th easycare very little wool reducing risk and it makes Strike easy to spot and treatThank you, I do enjoy having them, but the barsteward things can break your heart, lost one to strike the other day
Pure beltex lamb? What age would that be in pic?
Smart lambs. Hav they being backed out or are they like that naturally?
Problem is if you try to put too much shape into them you will loose the ease of lambing.
Most Easycare lambs will grade R, what more do you want.
@Global ovine says that british farmers look at the back end of a ram whereas NZ farmers look at e front end.Thats were they are falling key word you used 'most' you want a R grade as a minimum to try and promote it the better grade, bo shearing etc people will stop and think about keeping them!

I have used a fully shedding Texel tup on Easycares. Most will shed but some will throw back to wool.A question to Easycare or shedder keepers, if you were to put these 'peeling' type beltex on those ewes will the following lambs pretty much shed? If that makes sence
