The irony and hypocrisy John , you of all people talking about torque, exactly the reason why farmers here didn't buy the 1594's and brought Fiats instead!!!Can't say thats ever been a problem with the 4000 here, yet you seem to make a "drama" of it, but it appears you like to make a storm in a tea cup, for a problem that seems to only exist for you.....there is a gear for every job if you can find it, it does help that the engine has a bit of bottom end torque and can stay in that gear throughout the work, unlike having to drop a cog because your short stroke over square torqueless engine has dropped off song
