Mchale wrapper

We have a Mchale 991 LBER, I had 5 bales to wrap today to finish up for the year
The wrapper kept doing one turn and then "film break " would appear on the display. When the film wasn't broken
I haven't had a close look but I assume there's a film sensor somewhere
Can anyone shed any light on this please?
Thanks

Sensor is on the film rollers, cable running from the spool bank up the mast, follow it just in case you can spot any abnormalities, other than tat as mentioned, switch it off in operator setup

Thanks guys
I didn't know about being able to turn the sensor off. I just manually wrapped the 5 bales before I had to start milking
I'll have a proper look at it tomorrow, I'd like it fixed before it's put away or I'll likely forget about it

Think it's just a standard McHale sensor as they use the same ones for just about everything. Always keep one here as with 2x McHale remote wrappers and 3x McHale balers it can come in handy.

I know on the fusion there is a battery powered sensor in the end caps on the pre stretch unit which sends a signal to a reciever as the rolls spin .. If these batteries go flat then it shows up as film break .
As said before sensors can be turned off in control box [emoji106]

Hi, as @Mur Huwcun said it's on top of the film mast attached through the film stretch gear cover. I had a similar problem on my 991BE where the rotation sensor on the table stopped working so it didn't count revolutions or stop in the right place. To keep going and finish the job, I swapped it with the film sensor and funnily enough the dodgy one worked as the film sensor. I did swap them back at the end of the year just to check that it wasn't just a bad connection and sure enough it still didn't work on the table, so I swapped them back again and it's still there 3 years later. I haven't fitted a new one as here in Aus they are about 300 bucks and if it's working why bother?
