Sorry but any ploughman worth his salt would know that mouldboards and salt definitely do not go together.
As it gets later in the season it's fatal not to oil the boards correctly before the journey home. If the salt gets to them it takes at least 2 matches to get them bright again.
I would imagine the local authorities and the environmentalist are going berserk. He will be lucky to get away with that unless he owns the beach or has prior permission.Bear in mind he has only had the plough a few months, it being rescued from a nettle bed prior to that, and has only done a couple of matches, its not exactly going to be bright in the first place
the funny thing is, him ploughing the beach has got more media attention than anything the SOP or other organisations do...it even made it onto the local radio station, so it cant be all bad can it.
why ? he looks to be making a good job to meI would imagine the local authorities and the environmentalist are going berserk. He will be lucky to get away with that unless he owns the beach or has prior permission.

Yes, I have been to Cornwall. They do everything on the coast, cause shipwrecks, bring ashore contraband and even tunnel for minerals under the sea. Fascinating place and nice people.Have you ever been to Cornwall?
If you have, you would realise that this is normal behaviour that is taken as part of day to day life, its a different pace down there, different lifestyle, very laid back, people just mind their own business and let people get on with it
