got a friend with a db 780 with a hyd problem in that to raise hyd lift lift handle needs pushed forward and pulling back lowers arms
sure there was a similar post on here a while ago and it was a broken pin or an loose rod in system
can anyone shine a light ?

Take it out of TCU/External and it should work right, Pull lever back against its spring, move dial pointer to the middle position. Where you have it now it will be pointing to the mudguard

In height control, the lift lever works in proportion to lift arm height, it should lift right to the top when the lever is pulled back UP TO the spring loaded section at the end of the levers travel

depth control, sensed via top link, in proportion to lift lever setting

TCU/external....this is what catches most people out. You have two functions in one. Pull lift lever back past its spring, arms go up, let go of lever, arms hold. Push lever forwards halfway, arms lower.

Push the lever further forwards, the arms will raise with either a light, or no weight at all on them. This is TCU, a form of continous weight transfer for wheeled implements
