6210R running hot?

Have a loan of a 6210 for drilling this weekend, while my own tractor is in dry dock. It is running hot on the sower, soon as I go into work it builds up to 100 c then buzzer comes on to stop. I'm running with the cab heater on full pelt tonight and it's just about keeping engine temp down. Not doing much for my comfort though!

I have it set to just pump enough oil for the fans.

I have had the air line in to the radiator which was pretty clean, it makes a noise like its low on back end sometimes, I topped up back end oil to 3/4 of full mark. Still running hot. Only a 3m sower which it's playing with but obviously something is wrong.

Could the back end filter need changing and that be causing the heat build up or something else? It's fine when running flat out on road.

If dealer has lent it to you I'd be calling them? Wouldn't want to damage tractor when they have been good enough to lend you one.
Aye, but will the dealer be open before Tuesday?

Have you actually checked the coolant level? There's obviously enough in it for the cab heater to work, but maybe not full?

Back end oil should be at full mark, and check the oil cooler fins clear.

However sounds more like engine cooking, not the oil.

Your right, I will speak to them on Monday. I am grateful they lent me the tractor so don't want to damage it. I was stopping before it hit the buzzer and let it cool down so I'm fairly confident I'm not causing any damage. Since then the cab fan is doing enough plus I'm in a flat field now.

Coolant is near full. First thing I checked. Iv always ran backend shy of full mark on my own tractors and never had a problem, this one is at much an such same level.

Surely! Could name 3 mechanics of different brands that I'm pretty confident would be here tomorrow if I needed them.

Machine will be parked up until Monday so can wait until then before I call, I'd hope they would come out if I genuinely needed them tomorrow. Just have a couple acres to finish tonight.

If it thinks the coolant is low why is the temp shooting up?

The dash analogue gauge is sitting around mid way which is normal for this job, the backend is running at 75c which is a good bit cooler than my own tractor it's just the engine digital gauge on the command centre that's fluctuating between 80c and mid 90s

Fuel filters would be the first thing to change, but I'm sure its serviced.
Interesting to see if your asked any probing questions, when you get finished and leave it back as you got it?
