Cracking field beans for calf feed

Wondering what machines people are using. We used to mill and cube our own grub for the milkers years ago but all we want to do is kibble(?) or crack the beans for mixing with whole oats. Got a few old roller mills knocking about but don't know if they'll tackle beans with smooth rolls or not.

You'll need a double drive for beans

I don't know how old your rolling mills are but you'll need one where both rollers spin or they'll just bounce about on the top....also I'd think you'd need a grooved roller not a plain one

Or one with a pre roller, I have one with 3 rollers, first will do the beans then that falls onto the main two and gets crushed with the barley. Can't remember the brand though, it's blue with yellow panels

The korte crimpers will do them
Must have fluted rollers for beans
Murska mills will also do them.
