Shed rental value

Might possibly have 3 buildings to let from next autumn. All steel frame, concrete feed alleys with stoned up bedded area.
Would easily hold 100 plus head of bulling heifers or store cattle.
Handling system,
Hard standing available for stacking bales, 5 ton bulk bin also,
plus we could feed on a daily basis if required.
Any ideas on what the going rate may be?
Have contacted local land agent but heard nothing back. Near neighbour charges £1.60/hd per week plus water. No labour.

Thanks. I think the land agent lost interest when I didn't want to convert them all into storage or light industrial units.:scratchhead:

@silverfox would have a good idea of the going rate in your area.
To be honest, it's now long is a piece of string! . I've heard all sorts of prices mentioned. Need to work out what the straw or silage is worth, or has cost to make, how much work your putting in and if your keeping the muck.

They would, and may do so yet. But the old chap isn't very keen on having "every tom, dick and harry poking about" as he says, so looking for something he can relate to. ie agricultural.

There would be no straw or silage just room to store it, so basically just the buildings plus water. Labour and removal of muck would be negotiable if required.

I rent three buildings out for storage. One 45 x 30 at £120/month (this was the first one, so probably a bit cheap). Another 40 x 20 at £100/month and the last an ex dairy at £170/month which is 40 x 32, the last one is much smarter and secure than the first two which are general farm buildings made secure. All are better than farming!!

I quite agree, probably three times the value of agricultural use, I'll just go and bang my head against that wall again!
