International b414 steering box

Does anybody know the size of the bolts at the top of the steering box where the throttle bolts onto?
Here are some pictures if you don't know what I mean.

The size of these bolts above.

7/16ths or 1/2" AF as it's International. It won't be whitworth or metric.
Best guess they will be the same as the 6 what's holding the cover plate.

It will be a UNC thread, measure the diameter of the base of the sheared stud. Might be 1/4 or one size either way.

The picture is off the Internet. The one I'm working on was taken apart and no bolts were put back in so the throttle was left loose so there are no bolts to measure.

I think I have an old steering box. I will have a look tomorrow if I remember and measure the thread on the bolts or the holes.

they are 1/4" unc, 3/8" spanner size

I'm going to pick your brains again now John. I've read on here that on the b275 the wheels should be that creamy/white. Is this right?

no a B275 had fully red front wheels, and red centers and silver rims on the back

Good because that's exactly what I thought, I'm glad you've said that, otherwise that would have meant every b275 I've ever painted would have had the wheels painted the wrong colour.

I didn't want to split hairs but i would of said 7/16 too.

Although some have been 3/8 that I've come across.

Its still 1/4 UNC thread, and yes i have seen both

Must be a special like a M10 with a 15mm head, 3/8" head is usually 3/16" IME

I've sorted the problem now. I had the original bolts all along. I just had a senior moment and had forgotten where I had put them. What size they are I haven't got a clue. All I can say is they fit.
