Does anyone know where you can look and find the maps or information showing which parts of the A1 can still be driven on by a tractor?

Worksop/ Markham stretch and then Marr to Darrington area we would be on.

I see tractors all the time on the A1 between the destinations you note. The believe you will be Ok on any duel carriage way, it's only the triple carriageway further North than Darlington where you wouldn't be illegal.

Unless it's designated "M" with blue signs then you're fine.

I'd be working out an alternative route and avoid the whole thing.
Or travel at night lit up like a xmas tree.

Just stick a 'Highways Maintenance' sign on the back and you will be fine anywhere!

All A road those parts, but I avoid that area like the plague !

If it's ever shut for an accident, it's that Newark to Ferrybridge section.
