I wonder if I am the only person to have reservations about this salacious thread?

One, is it an apt for a farming forum?

Two, what does it say about the OP?

Three, is it verifiable?

On the last count, it seems that what is available is the OP's account, plus a photograph. The photograph merely shows a car on a suburban road; its index plate is identifiable and, no doubt, the driver of the car will be identified in due course.

Will the driver agree, or disagree, with the OP's account?

I suggest that the driver will deny the OP's account.

Is there any evidence that support's the OP's account? None, that we know of.

Just as the driver can be identified, so may the OP - his email address can be obtained and his name and address flows easily enough therefrom. Then the extent of any evidence he has to support his allegations (for that is what they are) will be enquired into.

If he has no evidence, he will be selling some cows to pay some legal costs. (Please refer to helpful thread on legal costs).

If I were the OP's solicitor, I would advise him to delete this ill-advised thread.

Unless other witnesses ?
Yes - the OP would, if challenged, need some corroboration of what he says.

The person claiming damages could, for example, suggest that the OP was inventing the story to get back at the driver for blocking the road, or running over a dog, or speeding past his cows, etc etc.

The claimant might even have a witness who was also in the car, and also denies the OP's account.

And people wonder why solicitors are always busy...
