Yeah the beet photos was last weekend they started around the 9thGreat pics as usual Dave, are the beet harvest photos this year? Early start if so?

@Dave Franciosy - which farm has that big John Deere drill with the seed hopper? Do you know the working with of the drill? Straight out of the USA.
Would be intrigued to know what the road transport width is. Did realise there were any of these in the UK.
The drill was imported in a 40 foot container it just fitted in it was a drill and trailer with seed hopper then the farmer cut and shut and made that 9 meter monster folds up to the width of the tractor

The farmer is a guy called Steve Heard, they are in Market Harborough. The drill is to be used mainly on cultivated soil. I don't know what type of soil, I hope go and see it working this season.I've just looked through all the fantastic photos. Thanks for sharing.
What cultivations, if any, do they do in front of the drill? Do you know what the soil type is there?
