Yesterday not today, got called in to clear a route to the skips as one of the trucks was parked in the way, so took a picture in day light for a change (y)(y)

Pride of our fleet:rolleyes::rolleyes: 1 C reg, 1 D reg, 1 N reg, 3 63 reg and one on a foreign plate around a 86, all out every night earning the firm a living but needing replacing drastically as struggling to reach the work and the emissions standard. The D & N reg are both up for renewal to work on the rail later this year, not sure if they'll get through the new rules. The 63 reg have only been on the work for a couple of years due to the build time.

200m of hand ditching nearly finished - I get about an hour 'spare' every other day to do a bit more of it.

It is not as easy as when I was 25........

Why not go modern when you get the job complete, build a dam two feet high to slow the water flow .

Today the powercompany changed the transformer station in my backyard. We have 10.000 volt at the corner of the farm, so we always have enough power. But apprently it was leaking oil and needed mending.
I don’t have any water without power, as the water company can’t supply enough, so i have my own tank the can fill 24/7. It means i needed power for my pumps when the power was out for 4 hours. View attachment 767194View attachment 767196

Are the black things coming off the manifold into the alkathene pressure regulators?

No it’s just fancy valves to open and close manually. I was told i got them because they shouldn’t get stuck over time.

The pump is frequency modulated and regulator speed to keep a level pressure in the whole system.

The pump on the left is for washing and operate at a higher pressure, and the valve between the pumps let the pump with high pressure help the other one if pressure go below the set threshold on the right side of the valve.
