So the last 3 days of my life have been spent on a slurry transfer,4000m of 5” pipe out and 3 pumps (y)
The only down side is we did have a visit from some pikeys yesterday that thought they would help themselves to deisel out of the loadal holding the gantry over the road :mad:
Nothing is safe anymore,even in the middle of nowhere :(

Don’t be too hard on the old boy, I’m sure we all made mistakes when we were younger that our dads had to put right :)
But it’s interesting when you get older and the boot is on the other foot, my dad likes a bit of ‘job creation’ :D
But I’m just glad we are still working together(y) and I’m sure you feel the same way (y)
Exactly , because one day he will not be there and you will see that bent pto or broken casting in some neglected corner of the farmyard and remember.
Aim to remember with fondness not regret.

Sometimes a much bigger mess can emerge after they're gone.
