We sometimes have problems with shearers stopping for wet sheep when there has been no rain. Usually young Australian shearers wanting a day off. NZers don’t call wet sheep unless the sheep are wet, and we have one local Scottish shearer who says he has rarely seen a wet sheep in Australia. He says if you won’t shear wet sheep, you wont ever shear sheep in Scotland.
