Managed to get some bales done today although the baler gave up on us the net wouldn't feed round the bale might be the electric motor packed up. Got a neighbor to finish baling for us. The joys of doing it yourself.

Was earning its keep a few years ago and wasn’t parked there last year, but the green windows suggest she ain’t done much this year.

Anyone spot the problem with the lifter? Never noticed till he said

The lifter is red not blue? Or is the geometry out and it only lifts level rather than tilting forward?

Is it that they are slightly longer than the bales making it possible to damage bales in stack if you're as clumsy as me?

@Bob lincs - was the Muir Hill not there on the slipway at Cromer any more? I always felt a bit sorry for it.

The fact that the front dishes are 'in' and the back are 'out' says MH to me

Didn't there used to be Ford 8210 there? We are staying at Sheringham at the end of July and we usually have a trip to Cromer to have a look at the Classics on the beach.

I reckon @Flat 10 's right, the Thing is a Muir Hill, but I wonder if it's the same one?

EDIT: Actually I'm not sure it can be the same one, they have so little in common.

Correct, don't have to be clumsy to damage them either.
Was a prototype made by slurrycat.

The pipes have been longer than the bale on any bale lifter I've used. If you're stacking them on their round you set them down in front of the stack, drive forward a few inches and then lift the bales again before reversing back to place them in the stack.
Things must be bad at SlurryKat if they're going to start producing low value items like bale lifters.
