No. No heating until there’s power for the furnace to run.I hope you have some heating for when you get out . . .
Well it went down the drain. Was hard to relax and read a book. Had to get out and find more candles for reinforcement. Then scavenge some food, now I can try and read. Or stare into the darkSo . . . that steaming bath will eventually turn into a giant ice cube ?
hope you’ve got a big fluffy towel & some warm clothes next to the bath
So.. you were sitting in bathtub counting toes, when the radiator broke / water all froze...Trying to relax in a steaming hot bubble bath after work.
Climbed in and the power went out... now I have one lonely candle to see by.
Actually that's pretty pathetic for an animal that can weigh between 50 to 150 tonnes... And I'm assuming thats US gallons ...so 600ltrs. We have a cow doing 90 litres a day atm and might top out at 700kg. So even on the scrawny end of whaledom it would need to be pumping out 6390 litres. Come on whales lift your game or I'll back the Japanese to hunt your lazy ass to extinctionWell I had to Google it https://www.whalefacts.org/whale-milk/
150 gallons a day.....wowsers
Dont know how you would corral one though ?

You must have another way of heating your house if the power goes off don't you?Well it went down the drain. Was hard to relax and read a book. Had to get out and find more candles for reinforcement. Then scavenge some food, now I can try and read. Or stare into the dark
YawnBet the quality is better
I have flashlights. I’m just not in the habit of taking them into the bath with meI always thought you rural folk were prepared for such things.
I am, especially as far as bathroom lighting goes. The light doesn’t work in there so I have been using a rechargeable led torch for the last 12 months.
It’s very good and even the missus is quite content with it, hasn’t even mentioned fixing the proper one.
Nope. Few years ago I lost power for about three days this time of year. Landlord was going to get a converter installed for a generator but it never happened. No power, no heat. You must have another way of heating your house if the power goes off don't you?
