In a marginal seat for sure.
Funny thing is I want a hung parliament as having a liar as PM is not attractive in any which way.
Snap.Congratulations - you must be in a swing seat. Here in South LIncolnshire just had the usual letterbox literature. Voting here is not essential as the Conservative candidate (MP) has already organised accommodation in London for next Monday.
I must be able to make a difference too. I get something from my local Conservative candidate ever week, as well as regular emails from Boris directly (apparently), usually asking for a donation to the fight.
Meanwhile, Mrs NeilO is getting bombarded by the Lib Dem’s almost daily.
I think there’s a labour candidate too, but maybe he’s given up already?
Why would anyone want a Tory government ? Another ten years of mayhem. Why would anyone want a hung parliament. God help us if its more of the same
I don't understand this either. If only so that Brexit is resolved one way or another so the country can start making money. Why would anyone want a hung parliament. God help us if its more of the same
I agree with you,we are in a total stalemate currently, unless we leave the eu this situation might continue for decades.I don't understand this either. If only so that Brexit is resolved one way or another so the country can start making money.

My daughter and her partner will be voting in Cheltenham for the first time since they moved there. More exciting than North Shrops, although there’s more people than I can remember saying they’ve had enough of Patterson. Maybe he’s worried , as we’ve had a flyer this time and his been in the local pubs. Don’t normally get any literature here. Here in Cheltenham we have a really tight fight. 2000 votes in favour of the Tories last time. They even wheeled out TM who actually came to our door (I was out annoyingly!) This election from a politician perspective is almost numb. Boris isn’t a statesman, JC is down right dangerous and the LD’s have a poor leader. What a choice!!
Surely we can all see that the old saying that any decision is better than indecision is true, we have had getting on for four years of ditthering it simply cant go onBecause neither of the main parties can be trusted with a majority?

personnaly if I was facing a firing squad I would sooner they made their mind up asap, do it or dontWould you think like that if you were facing a firing squad and they were arguing over whose turn it was yo do the deed on you? Sorry, no - as I see it we have a couple of extremists in charge of the two main parties, and either would be a disaster for the country - I’ll settle for more of the same for now thanks, until somebody competent emerges onto the political frame.
If you leave the country and have been gone for 15 years Im not sure why they should have the vote, I can see an argument for, IF they are paying taxes here still but otherwise no IMVHOThink yourself lucky, there are an estimated 1.2 million Brits living in the EU who are barred from voting because of the 15 year rule, dispute all this mess having more impact on them than anyone else. Around a third of a million are still registered to vote but are generally ignored by all the parties with the exception of the Lib/dems from what I have noticed.
