Lambs less today £ 5-8 a head .....6500 lambs 2000 ewe’s , expecting a large show of sheep tomorrow in Longtown I heard , bet my killing lambs will be better tomorrow than live was today ?

Ashford sheep sale tomorrow instead of Tuesday. Got a few sorted so hopefully they will do OK.
Big show averaged 1.97
That's just 2-3p down from last week I think.

Keep hearing on here and fbook how liveweight is 'pounds' ahead of dead at moment so i succumbed to temptation and sorted the best 20 lambs out of my 105 that were ready to go and took them live, they made £83.77. The other 85 worse lambs went deadweight yesterday and came to £87.02......when will i ever ,ever learn?!
