He wouldn’t be suing the government if he didn’t think he would win. Unfortunately Patel doesn’t appear to be that bright, you cannot bully people into submission in the work place. More taxpayers cash wasted on the settlement no doubt. Is he a snowflake? Or is Priti Patel just thick and stupid,or an evil witch?
The current cabinet are the swamp!Drain the swamp.
Team players only need apply.
Nah.The current cabinet are the swamp!
Regardless of whether you think Rutnam is incompetent Patel should deal with him more intelligently. Planting fibs in the press isn’t the way to deal with employees. How many unlawful dismissals are required before Patel has to go?Drain the swamp.
Team players only need apply.
And the last one? The pits perhaps. The current cabinet are the swamp!
Biological controlNah.
They'll be the beasts devouring the parasites.

As the senior line manager, his role as an employee should be to ask' how high?' when told to jump. If he wished to have that job tomorrow, his future role should be to sell the policy to the minions. It is not his place to affect or misdirect the policy. If he was a snowflake, he would have taken the pay off and gone quietly. He's taking a stance against an inept bully, and he should be respected for that.
Beware the tail wagging the dog. I cannot take sides because I have scant knowledge but is this a case of anti government subterfuge that has bedeviled EU withdrawal negotiations and immigration control? As for the security services I have my doubts about hidden political influences as have successive governments of all persuasions. If he was a snowflake, he would have taken the pay off and gone quietly. Absolutely right but when push comes to shove the boss calls the shots every time. He's a professional person and should be treated as such, not bullied and slandered publicly. To suggest a professional should ask 'how high' is madness - the man is not a slave, and even the most tense working situations require appropriate respect to be shown.
Does Priti Patel have any redeeming features? It doesn't like she will last any longer in this ministerial position than her last one.
