And replace them with what? Patel's 8.5 million economically inactive perhaps.
1.9 million of those want a job .. unlike the Civil Service who when they have one don't want to do it.

There's a pub right by the M4 - half way between Reading and Swindon I think - that would be on the way from both of us. Perhaps after the current 'crisis' has passed.

Gordon Brown was the Chancellor for about 10 years.
Tony Blair's actions in the two fake wars based on an Alistair Campbell dodgy dossier destroyed the Labour Party .. Gordon Brown was part of the same cabinet.
