The drought
Ho Ho Ho... Once we have seen 50mm, then I will say the drought is over here!!
6mm so far this month, most ahs evaporated away before it got in the ground!

I went to cereals that yr, very dry.
I thrn bought a big subsoiler, a simba solo and a tractor to pull it.
The second i did the deal, the heavens opened and it pee'd for 22 months
Never used the kit for two years

Not here it isn’t. Some maize yet to germinate .

From the weather comment in the Times today,this year very similar to 1956.Driest May on record(up to this year) followed by terrible wet and stormy June,July,and August.It picked up in September,which turned out to be warmer than August.
