Did that tree fall on your bonnet?Cut Monday and baled Wednesday,7 bales to the acre of meadow hay.Half an old oak tree collapsed on the track to one field ?
So what is hay trading at?Heavy rain last night again . I
Now that's a good question . In early May hay was as cheap as chips . Then they switch the Friers on and it shot through tut roof , but then it rained and orders were cancelled and trade went quiet . So it's sort of stuck in no mans landSo what is hay trading at?
And straw?
Bloody hell I'd want £100 a piece for them bales .On with a bit of seed hay that was grazed till end of April.
Cut on Sunday

Apart from my Timothy hay which is all sold,I have chopped all my 1st cut . Gone to dairy farms . No point adding to the mountain of fodder that did not sell last year and with grass up to your eye balls now the mountain can only get higher , you see how then you cant predict the market . Your short, we have to muchI'm going to have 30% of the straw I had last year and half the hay .
