I'm now intrigued, what part did you actually need?
Sounds like hassle you really didn't need though.

40 acres of spring barley left. Hopefully start again tomorrow if it stays dry.

Have you tried Richard Manners for combine parts, he breaks a lot and is very knowledgeable and helpful.
I can normally get there in about an hour and a half. Had a returns auger went last year, was there for 7am back for 9am and combining as soon as the dew was off.

Is cookoo barley / gramaphone needle barley a myth? Cutting S Barley (Planet) drilled first half April and yielding 2.5t/acre minimum and nice bold berry. Anyone seen any?
planet doing very well for us , not guesstimating till its all in and cube the heaps.

Well, done and dusted, best bit of wheat I cut was April sown Skyfall that did 7t/ha, much better than the Autumn sown WW. Mulika SW were seedbed fert was used was almost as good, then Mulika with no seedbed fert was just average. Glad it's over
we will be glad when ours is as well!

I’d settle for just below average , into spring wheat last couple of days
Light land 2 t acre
Strong land struggled to germinate 2 t acre
Good land 3 t acre

considering what’s it’s been through it’s not too bad , I’ve never known crops die under trees before this year .

I have noticed in the overlaps from the sprayer the wheat is a lot cleaner colour with less black ears sticking up.

In the middle.
This is a first! The best day of harvest so far and it in September. Didn't get going until 2.30pm as where I'm cutting want it dry and managed to clear the 45ac field of spring barley that wasn't yielding to badly. Last load was 16% but I wasn't leaving 6 runs in the field.

I share your frustration, we finish the wheat on Friday evening and moved into spring oats. 40m in the slow speed chopper drive failed (case), pulled off the offending part, fixed a repair and just got back to the field only for the heavens to open.
What a carry on, you couldn't make this sh1t up.
400 acres to go.
