An extra £1.27/acre on just one product.
Can I just say you are being a tad unfair An Gof. Though I appreciate where you are coming from.
I will make an assumption here, so could well be wrong, in which case I apologise and withdraw. If W Farmer has a regular service agronomist visiting fortnightly or so and providing a full walking /advice service that agronomist will be costing thick end of £100k to run. And no different to an 'independent' agronomist will need to pull in at least £5 - 7 acre to cover costs / make small profit on the walking element, depending how many acres he/she covers.
So for OSR taking a £1 acre off the Kerb treatment maybe about right. As he/she is looking to take £5-7acre over the course of the year compared to non service prices. Its OK saying, quite correctly that the Kerb treatment requires negligible service, as inferred in post #4316, but in the case of a service agronomist, who is not charging for time as a direct item, how is the agronomy company to recover costs of providing the agronomy service and the £100k of putting an agronomist, albeit sales service, on the road.
Not intended to be derogatory to you or WF. But just sayin' as the phrase goes.
