Heard what on tv ? I haven't watched tv news for 4 years now as they just give you their opinion and make up lots of stuff. The first time I watched this bleach speech was yesterday until I saw it I too assumed he mentioned bleach as the MSM claim, he didnt, I have asked two people here to put links up to him saying it, neither can, yet one put up links to three newspaper stories that say he did, they were lying

I’ve just looked at the first link - ABC news I think. It doesn’t mention bleach. Have I misunderstood your point?

The 75 million supporters of President Trump are not going away, obviously the proceedings on impeachment are spurious but the left want him banned from running as a candidate in the future either as a Republican or more probably as an independent.
Do you believe that trump is the only reason anyone votes republican?
If that were the case it would be very sad for the party.

Really? How do you know that all 75 million Trump voters don’t believe every word he utters. It is inconceivable that any of those 75 million have any doubts about any of his statements. Indeed I believe they are all itching to take up arms to preserve Trump’s place in the White House. Furthermore if they weren’t so busy they would be demonstrating their support dressed in paramilitary garb with one hand raised in a salute of support. Proud Americans to a man and woman.

Fairly sure I remember you claiming you didn’t ask your friends who they voted for. Hence no surprise you haven’t met any.

No matter what, your little town is a microcosm, I’m sure, and not indicative of the country as a whole.

What Roger has said is correct. I’ve family members in the states and they are saying the same thing.

It's funny how there is a small group of people on this thread who are determined to justify and support a person who has spent much of the last 4 years carrying out acts that have weakened the UK economy, in some cases intentionally. I fully understand this if you are a US citizen and happen to think it is a correct course of action for the US economy, but it's bad form for anyone wishing to see the UK recover from the twin disasters of Brexit and Covid.

Think of it this way, 70 odd million Americans watched what Trump did for 4 years and still voted for him. I'd bet many more decided just not to vote at all.
You can belittle them all you like but that's an awful lot of people that do not want Biden in charge. Doesn't say much for him does it?

It will be interesting to see what the next 4 years bring.

This isn’t over yet in my view. Watch what happens in the next 6 months let alone 4years.

Roger claimed “I have yet to meet anyone who did not vote for Pres Trump”. Given he doesn’t ask people who they vote for, and you don’t know who he’s met, how can you possibly know it’s correct?

FWIW, every US voter I’ve asked or who has voiced an opinion through personal social media (not including TFF, obvs) has been a Dem: Biden supporter - that’s not many though, and mostly Tech industry, around Seattle/ Washington state or energy sector.

Examples of how he’s weakened the economy when in fact it’s the strongest it’s been for 40 years as widely acknowledged by many millions of people.

Maybe read my 2nd sentence 🤦🏻‍♂️

So they know who Roger’s friends have voted for too? Don’t be ridiculous!

Of course what you could be meaning to write is that your friends also occupy a similar microcosm of Republicanism (rural area with few voters over a large space?), which would be likely correct too. That’s why they take a poll across the whole country and count 160m+ votes, not just a sample of six from Nowhereville, OH. The fact that some areas are polarised more right or left really shouldn’t be a surprise to anyone who’s followed UK politics, should it.

Brown and Blair took credit for the strong economy 97-2001, but it was nothing to do with them, john major sowed the seeds of it in 92-93.By devalueing£ these things take time.
As we all know, Brown claimed to have eradicated boom and bust, just as the biggest economic tsunami ever was just off shore.

Will we talk about the debt? Of course if the Don could have stayed in power a couple of more terms, the debt would continue to skyrocket, but then disappear in a puff of smoke. He has form in that regards, by welching on his own business debts.

So says the corrupt media.
It’s by his own mouth. Unless you’ve been living under a rock for the last twenty years and have somehow missed his tweets, interviews you can’t fail to have noticed. I don’t read the newspapers but I do follow video, radio, and internet so unless there has been some serious editing he has condemned himself out of his own mouth from the “grabbing pussy” to saying “ if she wasn’t my daughter I would “ . Calling Mc Cain a war coward instead of a war hero while at the same time he was draught dodging. Those are just off the top of my head but the list is endless if you can be bothered to remove your blinkers and have a look.
