Major vehicle quandary

So I presently run a Amarok doing 15,000 miles a year. It’s leased and going in June this year. It ticks all the boxes for me as it’ll travel across fields, tow a trailer, carry stuff in the pickup bed, takes the kids to and from school and is also happy travelling to the coast on holiday.
I’ve asked and VW won’t extend the lease with warranty. I’ve had a few adblue issues with it so I don’t want it without warranty. Other than that it’s a brilliant vehicle and fast due to the v6 engine.
I’ve been and looked at and driven the new Hilux as well as the ranger, d-max and l200. I don’t like any of them as they are woeful compared to the Amarok.
Of the 15,000 miles a year half is private related such as school runs and half is business related.
I genuinely don’t know what to do because I like vehicles in warranty and I like changing them every 3 years which is why lease suits us.
If I was to buy the budget would be £40,000 or if leased no more than £600/month including vat. A commercial suits our business for vat and tax but I don’t like any of the other pickups. The new Amarok won’t be available until late 2022 according to the dealer. I need 4wd for field use and it needs to tow 3t.

Help because I’m flummoxed and honestly don’t know what to do.

Have you tried the Navara? I’ve had one for 3 years and had an Amarok before that. Although I preferred the Amarok at first I think the Navara is a great truck and pretty swift. I do 30k miles a year, on and off road. Auto box great for towing although mainly just tow a caravan

My brother has a navara and I really don’t like it hence why it’s not even a consideration. It’s slow and fuel use is high.

I’ve got a 2l amarok and the other half has a new Navara, the Nissan isn’t a patch on the amarok in terms of performance or comfort and it drinks diesel like theirs no tomorrow, I’ve test driven the 3l amarok and virtually every truck on the market and it was far superior to anything else, the closest one to the amarok would be the ranger, the new 2.8l Hilux may be ok as I only drove the 2.4l one and found it gutless. Cant you not find a low mileage amarok still under warranty, I’m sure they are around.

Other half is telling me to buy an old hilux and lease a car for 7000 miles a year. Problem is I don’t want to drive an old hilux and I don’t really have time to go back home to swap out of an old hilux into the lease car to then go 3 miles on the school run.
2 vehicles doesn’t really suit me and I’m always out and about so I need a one trick pony Jack of all trades.

Yes I could buy an ex demo with warranty for about £50,000 ish. Problem is I’ll be paying £50k off over the remainder of warranty to then sell when it’s 3 years old. It’ll be around £1400/month so double the budget.

Just buy the New Hilux, its the only vehicle that will do what you want to from your list of requirements!

Oh and I'd hardly call it a "major" quandary... :X3:
