Not the best of days... a hornet decided to hide in my glove in the tractor....

And a dry cow got a mushy fodder beet stuck in her food pipe and blew up. Got the vet out and just as we thought it was shifting she decided to commit suicide in the crush. Died in the 2mins it took to drag her out 😪. Got the vet to do a pm to confirm.

Now that really is OCD
To be fair , there’s nothing worse than trying to strap something down with a rusty old strap that traps your knuckles. I stole the elastic bungee idea from @Andrew many years ago. And I decided to dab some paint on them so they don’t get mixed up with anyone else’s.
Im surprised this isn’t a requirement of red tractor 🤣

Can't remember where I stole the bungee idea from!

We also put a yellow cable tie on the hook of the extra long straps and a red cable tie on the ones that are a bit short. Saves a surprising amount of time.

185 update
Its out on its feet all singing and dancing even made it upt big ill we have ere....

Makes me smile to see the journey of each tractor and especially like this 185 same farm from new to hear its life story and the sentimental attachment, makes the journey and completion far more rewarding.
