Lovely day outside again and I'm stuck inside on what I suspect will be the first hour of several sorting out a botched electricity move🙈.

Least if you have done it yourself you have half a chance of sorting it.
Once, against my better judgement I let one of these clowns that phone up change a leccy contract
Total cockup. Didn`t tell the old supplier we were leaving
Didn`t give the new one the correct start date. When I realised things weren`t right I could not contact them to get them to sort it
Ended up sorting it myself. bloody parasites

Hopefully all sorted now.
They were quite happy the error is their end and have moved to contracts onto the agreed pricing and will credit the overpayment this month.

I will await next month's bill before m sure though 😅

Mine seem happy enough in cold weather much more so than hot yields seem to rise with a cold snap if anything probably because they stuff the feed into themselves intead of standing or mooching round the yards

our best cubicle shed, is very open, 4ft wind shield on each run, before we converted it to cubicles, it was a y/s straw yard, always being told it's too open, cattle will not 'do' in it. I put the original barn up 25 yrs ago, it has been the best, and healthiest shed, for all sizes of cattle, from young calves, to milkers, on the farm, since the beginning. Cows can cope easily with cold weather, but not, with very cold draughts. Even in the hot summer spells, both those cubicles, and the covered feed area, always have good air movement through, though i would like to take credit, it was sheer luck.
Nothing about starlings this year, we haven't had any, is this the norm, or luck again.
