That was probably the year we had a bin of oats we couldn't sell at any price.so we used them in our wood burners to heat 2 houses as it was cheaper than buying coal.only got through 3 or 4 tones. Over winter then the rest sold the following year when prices went up
Seem to remember selling stuff for £58/t
I'll bet the cost of production has gone up 1/3 since then. Still a loss making price in 2005

Has anyone got a feed oat price? Got half a load load of milling and half a load of "will still be light after a trip round the drier" canyon oats to home this month.

Sell it to a mate so it magically becomes 'assured' (and split the difference in price), just like the rest of the maize and cereals that wash into the country from foreign shores...

What’s the consensus on osr price going forward? Was offered 396 spot today. Also 168 Nov wheat
Sold 5 load of feed wheat at £210 today, and 3 for harvest move at £160 to make a start
