So what is it that you fail to compete fairly with just because of rules & regs imposed on you but not on Asian producers?
Subsidies fast disappearing but you would moan like hell if NZ were giving high subs like the EU right next door to us & you received none!

Wages. Animal welfare conditions. Farming practices. Wages. Wages wages.
Wages is something non of us can avoid, the rest we should be able to, you can bet our wage bill is higher than yours still.
TB testing every animal either every 60 or 180 days depending if you have had a single TB reactor & then forced to turn the cattle back out onto pastures that TB infected badgers run protected by jail time if you shoot the little buggers, try putting up with that for a start.
