Then again there’s always the classic can’t believe it’s not been mentioned angry farmer with a pitch fork
It’s fairly easy to counteract most poisons over here Roy most people can’t get the good stuff
Don’t reckon you know spaniels
Laying poison baits in the open is illegal here. If fact, anything that works is probably illegal!
You can here but there easily counteracted takes a fair moron not to notice a dog bleeding internally so I’d imagine it wouldn’t be that effective might leave the man with a decent size vet billyou can buy snail / slug pellets or mice bait - both of which can be fatal to pets - off the shelf in any local hardware or gardening shop or any food supermarket here
I would ring the police first thing this morning if I were you and get your side of story down as from previous experience the bloke you have had a run with is probably going to and no doubt it will be you in the wrong.
If you used any kind of poison and the dog became ill, or even if it died, it would probably be taken to a small animal vet to find out why. The vet nowadays is likely to be a pasty-faced young vegan woman who hates farmers, if the problem was traced back to you then all the fires of hell, official and unofficial, would be rained upon your head. Some good suggestions here with filming him, involving police etc.
DO NOT do anything involving firearms, as tempting as it may be.
I don’t know what access you fellas have to various baits or chemicals, but if all else fails, can you spread some slug / snail pellets or mouse bait around that the dogs will hopefully eat ? Some 1080 fox baits would be ideal . . .
Depends on the dog, depends on the humani place human life higher than a dogs . . .
dog gone
problem gone . . .
Can’t see how it’s the dogs fault maybe people cashing in on dogs sales and people not responsible enough to look after dogs are the problem
Big tough Aussie farmer shoots dog because useless f**ker can’t control dogs
What the f**k is the world coming to ???
By the way I have no problem shooting dogs if their in the wrong and have shot plenty worrying sheep
THE DOG IS NOT THE Problem in this case
one thing Ive noticed about the English - they are very soft on dogs . . .
people always say "its not the dogs fault", but there are FAR too many dogs in the world anyway
personally, I have a shoot to kill policy on any dogs I see, but obviously not if there are any people around
Folk are like this now , had a terrier chased a cyclist just running barking, he went absulotly mental , he was fat and in Lycra lol I just said dressing like Jimmy savil I’m threee sizes two small affecting your blood pressure and your judgment , now pee off before you really embarrass yourself he did , but so aggressive unbelievable .
To be fair, most dogs which are poisoned will belong to the farmerYou can’t buy rat poison without a, paid for, certificate. The excuse for making people taking a test and paying for a expensive piece of paper was that too much poison might of being used indiscriminately, killing cuddly wildlife and beloved pets.
