Appears that he is [emoji1303]

(And a link to the actual retraction, rather than Charlie’s Twitter, for those who prefer)
I'm surprised it lasted as long as it did.
It's why no one will stick their head above the parapet.

Not aware of any science journals that have used that criteria in a disingenuous manner that lacks transparency though - are you?
Not going to look for one but I'd be surprised if the pro vaccine science doesn't use the exaggerated 'death within 28days of positive test' figure to compare with the very safe 'less risk than covid' vaccine.

Interesting that its wrong 'reporting of a death following vaccination does not imply that this is a vaccine-related event' but its perfectly normal to imply same for covid deaths.
Much like a lot of deaths caused by cancer is often something else that finishes you off and viruses tend to cause other issues, you only need to look at the abnormal amount of deaths over the time of covid compared to others years to realise it is not just the sniffles unless there are assassin's out there using it as a cover to assassinate Tom, Dick and Moe down the pub.

I believe Peter Hadfield did a video on it around the end of last year.

Not like cancer at all, when you've got cancer, you've got cancer. When you have a positive covid test, it's about 50/50 whether you have covid or not never mind if it killed you.
Yes it's a disease, yes it kills people, yes it requires some restrictions. Does it require mass vaccination of under 30s with an unproven vaccine? No fu cking chance.

Concurr. But afraid the mass vaccination of the under 30s will occur - the state has decided that. If not vaccinated you will find it difficult to function in society. It is apparent whether Johnson (Billy Bunter) says it or not that a vaccination card is going to be your pass to social freedom and foreign travel. Take it or leave it. Choice will be yours, though am not so sure about the choice.

About 3 million of the 18-30's have already had the jab.

Well they will Charlie - without it they can see that they will not be able to travel to Magaluf or Ibiza - and party. Or to a festival. Or to a gig. They are not fools. I asked my daughter - 22 years old and jabbed. Not a case of they want it - just a case that the state has got what it wants without total compulsion. Fascinating to watch. School age children be next.

Indeed. No way out. The vaccine roll out has in effect been too successful for any refuseniks. And if as looks likely other countries make it a condition of entry then hey apart from a miserable old git like me who hasn't been out of the country for decades - and not really been out of immediate counties for years everyone who wants to travel will have to get and continue to get vaccinated - boosters an all. And keep and have available an upto date record.

I'd add strip clubs to your list too, the oooh thread is ok but it's no substitute for the real thing.

What makes you think they'll need to?

They wont need to, they want to! Other countries are so we will. The Gov't love this vaccine business as it's the only thing they done well.
This is supposedly the exit wave and only 16 days to go before restrictions are lifted. I think they'll just use testing for kids who are travelling.

Well Charlie for the immediate future (next three months of the 'holiday' season) the government (of UK and goodness the med countries who are desperate for Rishi's Sterling as the mean Germans do not spend as many Euros) will have to rely on testing kids as they will not have been vaccinated - yet mum and dad feeling they deserve a holiday or visit expat parents will need to be salved politically - or the Tories face even more backlash - hence why Hancock was outed by No10 to clear the way for Javid (you read that first here by the way). But come the school season in September - well I wait and see, but 15 year olds and above, maybe 12 year olds nd above being vaccinated - can see that one looming over the hill. Its a pandemic, you know. And we must protect the NHS, at all costs. Ah well..

Are you expecting a large amount of people to end up in hospital with covid come autumn?

Please be wrong.

No idea. I am just a citizen. Have had my two jabs as asked. Not a medic or epidemiologist. I shall watch with interest. I do though remember what 'experts' said in the past - well my avatar 'Hindsight' gives that away. And internally reconcile their previous accuracy with current statements. Do some of them need a new crystal ball!?

What do you think - or expect?

I think we are out of the woods, any pressure to get kids done would be the result of them getting badly ill.
