For registering holsteins i think the breeders used to draw pictures.....i wonder if its like that in the angus job?Named sires too I’m getting right into it now!!!
Well they know who to call if they need an 'artist' .......For registering holsteins i think the breeders used to draw pictures.....i wonder if its like that in the angus job?
It was still British Friesians in those days, and i drew plenty black and white outlines in the pre printed Birth Books when i was a kid. They had post card ends that you drew on and filled in the details.Tore it off, then sent in to the Society for a few quid per calf. Then they sent the animals pedigree back to you, which the animal had for life.It was a form of animal passport long before the official ones came into being...............Still a hell of a lot better than The Limosine Society where you had to tattoo the fu*king things in the inside of their ear............a lovely job............not! When i think about it now,i can still hear the "crunch" when you clamped it in. Back on topic, did anyone go to the Ronick sale today at Carlisle? For registering holsteins i think the breeders used to draw pictures.....i wonder if its like that in the angus job?
