straw more or less all spare spoken for and or gone and still getting asked for it,maybe have 25 acres of wheat left but will put that in a stack as a strategic reserve plus need a good number of squares to replace the ones we havnt replaced last year that we use as building blocks ,will more than likely chop the bean straw though may have to be with a forager on a windy day as the chopper on our combine has never been used and doubt it works after being remodelled some time ago

may as well bale it and use them for your building blocks and sell the straw

Prefer rounds but would take squares.
round here merchant buyers prefer squares, local users split 30/70 in favour of rounds . Here at home prefer rounds other than those used for building blocks as they are easier to spread and keep better outside plus the livery gals use far less straw if having to get it off a round to save their nails

Dose any one have any large stacks of wheat straw ?
Looking for 1000-1500tons dosnt need to be the best . Can take full stacks/chaser lines £40-45 a ton collected ! wilts ,berks ,hants , West Sussex areas

Looking at getting a straw probe, any recommendations or anybody got one for sale they don’t need? Moisture seems to be all over the place this year. Thanks
oh not just me then getting readings all over the place even using two different probes in the same bale
i've got a DRAMINSKI seems pretty good got a long probe though so often stab myself in the cab
